Chronic Pain Management Program in Southern NSW

24 July 2020

COORDINARE is offering small group education programs targeting patients suffering low to moderate chronic pain for more than 3 months.

Each Chronic Pain Management Program (CPMP) is facilitated by two suitably qualified allied health professionals. To meet the needs of patients and ensure COVID-19-safe program delivery, the programs have been adapted to meet COVID-19 group gathering requirements and an online program is now being offered. Programs will run throughout the 2020-2021 financial year in Batemans Bay, Bega, Bermagui and Goulburn, dependent on pandemic guidelines.

“The empathy and obvious understanding of the therapists of what it is like to live with chronic pain came through, despite not being in the same room but via a computer screen. I really recommend this course to anyone with chronic pain,” said a recent participant of the online program.

To arrange for a patient's participation, simply complete the referral form on HealthPathways and the Orebro Musculoskeletal Pain Questionnaire – Short Form (OMPQSF), then send to the local facilitator listed on the site.
