FSC Grand Round - Current Management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder

GPs, SERH medical and nursing staff, practice nurses, pharmacists and allied health providers in the Bega Valley region are invited to attend the next Far South Coast Grand Round meeting. 

A multidisciplinary team will present case studies with a focus on respiratory conditions including the latest evidence-based care for patients with COPD 

Topics: 

• COPD-X guidelines, precision medicine and case studies
• Nurse Practitioner role - using the COPD-X guidelines. 
• Self-management education, action plans, inhaler technique, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment
• Importance of multidisciplinary team, including pulmonary rehab
• Collaborative commissioning with PHN
• Health Pathways
