Psychiatry Support Line reaches more GPs in NSW
After a successful first year of GPs enthusiastically embracing the GP Psychiatry Support Line, COORDINARE is delighted to announce the addition of two Primary Health Networks (PHNs) in the co-commissioning group it leads, bringing the number of PHNs to eight.

The NSW Health cold chain webpage has been updated with a summary of recent changes to NSW cold chain requirements and the new national vaccine storage guidelines ‘Strive for 5’ (3rd edition) 2019.
Changes to antenatal pertussis vaccination recommendations
The National Health and Medical Research Council have updated their recommendations on the range of timing of pertussis vaccination for pregnant women. These recent changes are expected to benefit pregnant women at risk of pre-term delivery by increasing their opportunities to receive the vaccine.

150,000 reasons to be cured of hep C

Resources for populations less likely to engage in cervical screening
80% of Australian women who develop cervical cancer are either under screened or have never screened. To assist health care providers to encourage these women to participate in cervical screening, resources have been developed for the population groups identified as less likely to engage in screening.

New AOD videos in multiple languages
A new series of alcohol and other drugs (AOD) videos have been developed in a variety of languages.
The 'Where can I get help when alcohol or drugs are a problem?' videos are available on Your Room website in Arabic, Burmese, English, Farsi, Karenni, Kirundi, Mandarin and Swahili.
