Spotlight on Jindabyne Medical Practice's paediatric specialist telehealth hub
In 2018, Jindabyne Medical Practice implemented a paediatric specialist telehealth hub to facilitate more flexible and responsive access to specialist care for their patients. PA2health: residents in drought-affected areas to receive FREE 4-week wellbeing challenges
COORDINARE has provided grant funding to run PA2health, a 4-week digital mental and physical wellbeing health challenge for residents in drought-affected areas in South Eastern NSW. The challenge is delivered through Facebook Messenger and incorporates psychology, mindfulness, stress and sleep management, exercise routines, and recipes with shopping lists.
Perinatal depression and/or anxiety – telehealth service
Gidget Foundation Australia offers counselling for new and expecting parents who are experiencing perinatal depression and/or anxiety and are unable to have a face-to-face consultation. Patients need a referral and a mental health care plan from their GP to use the service.
Improving communication and coordination of palliative and end of life care in Southern NSW
Following the development of a Palliative and End of Life Model of Care, COORDINARE and the GP Liaison Officers are working with the Southern NSW LHD Palliative Care Service on ways to improve communication and coordination of palliative and end of life care for people in Southern NSW.
Active8 – a free program for people experiencing mental ill-health
Active8 offers a combination of three programs: Eat Plant Learn (group program), Coaching for Physical Health (one-to-one program) and Kick the Habit (one-to-one program). All three of the programs support participants to identify and work on physical health-related goals, engagement with health services and self-management.

Acute bronchiolitis diagnosis support
Acute bronchiolitis is a common viral chest infection frequently affecting infants aged under 12 months, and most often develops in autumn and winter. Only a small proportion of infants suffering acute bronchiolitis will require treatment to help with breathing and feeding.
Invasive Meningococcal Disease update
There has been a case of Invasive Meningococcal Disease (IMD) in Southern NSW. People infected with meningococcal disease can become extremely unwell very quickly, often within hours of the first symptoms appearing.
