As a member of the COORDINARE Executive team and Director of the Commissioning team, Lauren is responsible for leading the commissioning function of COORDINARE to achieve improved health outcomes, reduced inequalities and better patient experiences across the region.

Within her role in the Commissioning team, Lauren helps to lead commissioning across the organisation, working with the Executive team, the Clinical Councils and Community Advisory Committees to ensure that COORDINARE has clear and agreed priorities based on need and is able to allocate resources accordingly.

As the Service Development and Performance Manager for Mental Health and a member of the Commissioning team, Alison is responsible for the whole cycle of commissioning (strategic planning, designing, procurement, contracting and review and evaluation) of primary mental health services in South Eastern NSW, under an integrated stepped approach.

Along with the two Local Health Districts, she is also responsible for the Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan and its associated implementation.

Current program areas include: headspace centres in Nowra, Wollongong, Queanbeyan, Goulburn and Bega, psychological therapies, hard to reach, psychological therapies in residential aged care facilities, complex mental health services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health services, psychosocial services, and more.

As the Service Development and Performance Manager for Drug & Alcohol and member of the Commissioning team, Joanne is responsible for commissioning specialist alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services in South Eastern NSW, including planning, contracting and monitoring these services.

Current programs include: Pathways Eurobodalla, Monaro, Goulburn and Bega providing the full range of AOD services; a brokerage AOD service for Aboriginal women that draws clients from all four Aboriginal Medical Services on the South Coast, and an Aboriginal Youth AOD care co-ordination service in Yass.

Older Persons

As the Service Development and Performance Manager for Older Persons and a member of the Commissionign team, Samantha is responsible for facilitating the commissioning of initiatives and projects with primary care providers in the area of end of life care. She works across the South Eastern NSW region with the two Local Health Districts, as well as GPs, pharmacies, aged care facilities, and other non-government organisations.

This portfolio aims to strengthen capacity, coordination and partnerships between primary health, community health, community pharmacy, aged care providers, and other partners to deliver high quality and effective palliative and end of life care in the community. The main focus of the current projects is to increase community participation in planning for end of life care, and to strengthen community based palliative and end of life care.

The portfolio aims to strengthen the coordination, partnerships and capacity of the health care system in South Eastern NSW to improve health outcomes, address inequities, enhance self-management and the integration of preventive health mechanisms. 

Current programs include integrated care for people with chronic conditions, Integrated Team Care, and Shared Medical Appointments.

Lynne works in close collaboration with the Illawarra Shoalhaven and Southern NSW Local Health Districts to reduce fragmentation, address shared priorities, and establish joined up systems and pathways based on population needs that lead to improved health outcomes and positive consumer experiences across South Eastern NSW.

As Project Coordinator for the Chronic Pain Initiative and a member of the Commissioning team, Annette’s role is to improve the health and wellbeing of those living with chronic pain in South Eastern NSW. This includes collaborating with Southern NSW Local Health District, the Agency for Clinical Innovation, St Vincent’s Pain Clinic, University of Wollongong, and primary and allied health professionals.

Annette commissions the delivery of small group education programs for patients experiencing low to moderate chronic pain, coordinates workshops to upskill local primary and allied health professionals and sources best practice strategies for meeting rural and regional chronic pain needs.

As the Integrated Team Care Coordinator, Kay provides support and leadership to the commissioned Integrated Team Care (ITC) workforce to achieve better treatment and management of chronic conditions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, through better access to the required services, better care coordination, and provision of supplementary services.

Rick contributes to local needs assessments, coordinating consultation with key stakeholders including mental health peers, service providers, and health consumers more broadly. Rick has a keen and abiding interest in issues affecting people living with serious and enduring mental illness, and other social and psychological factors associated with disadvantage.
