Dementia Advisory Service

Are you caring for someone with dementia?

The Dementia Advisory Service (DAS) offers support to people with memory concerns and to their families and care partners. The service is confidential and can offer telephone support or home visits.

Who can access the service?

  • People living with dementia/memory loss and their carers.
  • Community groups.
  • health professionals.

DAS supports people with memory concerns and their carers by:

  • offering education and day to day advice on managing and living well with dementia.
  • Provide information on services to assist your needs including local support groups.
  • Supporting and developing local service  networks.

Referrals to DAS can be made through My Aged Care via the website or by calling the help line on 1800 200 422.
