Cancer and COVID-19 – Resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

Cancer Australia has released resources and campaigns to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and health professionals to manage the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including those affected by cancer, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cancer and COVID-19: what it means for our mob encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples affected by cancer to continue talking to their cancer care team and taking their medications through the COVID-19 pandemic. You can watch the video here.

Act early for our mob's health aims to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of all ages to see their doctor or health care worker with any new or persistent symptoms that could be cancer.
