Do you have the skills and expertise to join our Southern NSW Clinical Council, to help drive improvements in health care accessibility and outcomes for your region?

COORDINARE is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from motivated general practitioners and other clinicians, such as nurses, social workers, and other allied health professionals working in primary health care in Southern NSW.

The role of the Southern NSW Clinical Council is to provide expert and strategic advice to COORDINARE's Board on a range of clinical issues in Southern NSW, relating to improving health care accessibility and outcomes for communities in South Eastern NSW.

COORDINARE's Clinical Councils provide strategic advice and guidance to COORDINARE's Board on matters such as:

  • The integration of COORDINARE initiatives/programs across the broader health care system;
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of specific COORDINARE priorities, programs and projects, including their reach within general practice and the broader health care system;
  • Locally relevant key and emerging clinical issues relating to general practice in South Eastern NSW and recommend innovative initiative/solutions to COORIDNARE.

Membership is by expression of interest, and tenure is three years with an option to extend.

What is the commitment?

Members attend quarterly meetings either at a COORDINARE office (located in Wollongong, Nowra, Moruya, near Queanbeyan) or via a videoconference link. These meetings are held late afternoon generally between 4pm and 6pm.

Ongoing engagement occurs between meetings through requests for participation in a range of targeted PHN consultations.
