Purpose of this role

The Program Officer, HealthPathways will work within the Community and System Collaboration Team to support the efficient and effective implementation of the HealthPathways program.

HealthPathways is an online resource that offers health care providers locally agreed clinical and referral information to make the right decisions, together with people, at the point of care. It is a proven methodology that brings local primary and secondary health care providers together to develop agreed ways of managing health conditions and support integrated care.

You will work closely with our partners across the ACT, Illawarra Shoalhaven and Southern NSW regional health systems to support innovative, integrated systems of care that lead to improved outcomes for people, increased clinician satisfaction with assessment, management and localised referral protocols, and better use of limited resources.

 You will enjoy working as part of a team, finding ways to streamline work and have great attention to detail to ensure that health providers in our region have access to accurate and up to date information to support high quality care.

Role details
  • Working hours: Permanent (1.0 FTE) 38 hours per week (part time arrangements could also be considered)

  • Remuneration: Band 2/Opening ($84,558 pro-rata for part-time)

  • Office Location: Wollongong, Nowra, Moruya, or Fyshwick

Skills and experience
  • Project administration and coordination – supporting governance structures and program delivery.

  • Communication and stakeholder engagement – acting as first point of contact, managing enquiries, and maintaining relationships.

  • Content management and technical collaboration – working with our content management system and technical writers to standardise pathway content and service directories.

  • Data handling and feedback management – maintaining databases, responding to feedback, and using analytics tools.

  • Research and reporting – gathering user feedback, assisting with reports to funders and management.

  • Event and training support – coordinating promotional activities and contributing to communication and training efforts
