Become suicide aware, complete QPR training

Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognise the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to Question, Persuade and Refer someone to help. Become suicide aware and learn the skills to help someone else who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts.

QPR training is a one-hour online course which will provide you with:

  • knowledge and skills to identify warning signs that someone may be suicidal
  • confidence to talk to them about suicidal thoughts
  • ability to connect them with professional care.

COORDINARE is currently making this course available to ALL residents in South Eastern NSW.

We can also provide your organisation with support and resources to help roll-out the suicide prevention training which meets your needs. You can click on the 'Contact us to discuss QPR' tile below to find out how this training could be provided in your workplace or community group.

Mental health and suicide prevention are key priorities at COORDINARE. Find out more on our Mental health and suicide prevention page.
