Young peers

This expression of interest form is an opportunity for us to learn more about you, how you might like to be involved in the Peer Academy and how we can make your experience as inclusive and comfortable as possible.

There are no right or wrong answers, and you won’t be assessed or discounted due to your answers. We view this as a connecting step and all eligible respondents of this EOI form will receive an application form in October 2026. Feel free to answer the questions with as much/ as little information as you choose.

Sharing our stories can be empowering and cathartic, but it can also bring up difficult emotions from time to time, so it is really important that it is the right time in your journey to be involved. With this in mind, we will be asking some questions about your current supports and wellbeing strategies. If reflecting brings up any difficult emotions, we encourage you to pause and access support from your support network, or see options to connect with a support service here one of our commissioned services.

We expect strong interest in the Peer Academy and may not be able to offer a place to everyone who applies. Our first pilot program will commence in January 2027, with additional opportunities planned in the future.
