What are Urgent Care Clinics?

Care when it’s urgent, but not an emergency. You can go to an urgent care service if you need urgent medical attention that's not life-threatening, and you can't wait to see your GP.

There are six Medicare Urgent Care Clinics (UCC) in South Eastern NSW, including Batemans Bay, Bega, Dapto, Queanbeyan, Shellharbour and Wollongong.

About urgent care:

  • Open 7 days a week, 8am – 8pm* including public holidays

  • No appointment needed

  • All services are free and confidential
