
COORDINARE appoints new Southern NSW Medical Director

COORDINARE – South Eastern NSW PHN is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Erica Cameron – Taylor as Medical Director for the Southern NSW region, commencing Monday 11 August.
Dr Cameron-Taylor brings significant experience in general practice and palliative care, alongside a strong track record in clinical leadership.
“We are delighted to welcome Erica to the COORDINARE team,” said Prudence Buist, CEO of COORDINARE. “Erica’s extensive experience across public, private, and community health settings will be a valuable asset in continuing to strengthen primary care in Southern NSW region.”
Dr Cameron-Taylor is a practising GP with a focus on aged care and is credentialled as a Palliative Care Physician in the private sector. Most recently, she served as Medical Director at Silverchain Group in NSW, where she led a multidisciplinary team and oversaw clinical governance of community-based palliative care services.
Dr Cameron-Taylor’s contributions to medical education and research span innovative palliative care models, culturally responsive practice, and the development of clinical training programs.
Dr Cameron-Taylor will work alongside Dr Katherine Michelmore, COORDINARE’s Medical Director for the Illawarra Shoalhaven.
