The Sydney Addiction Seminars are back for 2023 and we hope you can join us for our upcoming session on Wednesday 31st March from 7:00pm-8:30pm on the topic: NSW Alcohol Interlock Program & Fitness to Drive Medical Assessments.
This seminar series is kindly sponsored this year by Indivior. Topics for the seminars are chosen by the Seminar Conveners.
Joining the session will be Prof Kate Conigrave (Addiction Medicine Specialist & Public Health Physician at RPA Hospital & the University of Sydney) who will discuss the key aspects of the NSW Alcohol Interlock Program and the involvement of GPs and other health professionals in this program for drink driving offenders.
Following this, Prof Paul Haber (Addiction Medicine Specialist & Gastroenterologist at RPA Hospital & the University of Sydney), will provide a brief overview and discussion on medical assessment for fitness to drive and what role that medical professionals have in this program.
