TOPIC: Nurse-led clinics

TIME: 6:30pm to 7:30pm

This CoP session will centre around nurse-led clinics and how they can be of benefit to the general practice setting. We will hear from local nurses who have headed nurse clinics in their workplaces to target cervical screening and HPV vaccination, and what their experiences have looked like. You are all encouraged to bring along any information, experiences, or questions you would like to share!

Learning Objectives:

• Review the benefits of nurse-led clinics.
• Discuss options for developing nurse-led clinics.
• Identify resources that can support nurse-led clinics.

AUDIENCE: The Practice Nurse Community of Practice is a group delivered by nurses, for nurses! The purpose of this group is to create a space where nurses feel safe to share their ideas, experiences, advice, to seek support, and for the purpose of providing education relevant to practice nursing.
