This webinar is the third in a series of workshops that will help you to recognise the characteristics of Mild Cognitive Impairment and how this relates to dementias, and to apply management and risk reduction strategies with patients in the primary health care setting.

Learning outcomes: 

  • Describe the characteristics of Mild Cognitive Impairment (mild neurocognitive disorder) and how this relates to Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia and other Dementias.  
  • Describe the management and risk reduction strategies that may be applied to the individual experiencing Mild Cognitive Impairment.

Target audience: Although the session is most relevant to GPs, Practice Nurses and Nurse Practitioners in the general practice setting, it is also inclusive of other allied health professionals in the primary health care setting.
